This Sunday, from noon -3pm, Friends of Yellow Creek is sponsoring a work party. It’s a great way to give back to the park and help improve the facilities in a time of tight budgets.
Our job will be spreading Fibar chips for the park playgrounds. This will help make the playgrounds more safe and more attractive. We’ll meet at the North shore, near the new shower house. (If you’re not familiar with the north shore, turn off the 422 North of the main park entrance at the signs for Camping Cabins.)
Thanks to all of those have already volunteered. Some of our willing workers aren’t available this Sunday, so you’re welcome to come even if you haven’t responded.
Dress appropriately for the weather, bring work gloves if you like. The park will provide necessary tools.
